The buttons and features around the model can be found on the right-hand side of the Skindex Skin Editor under the color selector. However, I think it is important to understand the skin model as well. Now that you know the tools, feel free to play around with creating a skin. You can use color codes or use the color wheel to select the color you want to use to make a Minecraft skin. You can select colors in the top right of the skin editor. I do want to mention selecting your colors here as well. Use this to mirror what is done on one side of the skin on the other side. Next up is the zoom in and out buttons to let you see the skin more closely, and last but not least there is the ‘mirror' button. This is good to quickly change your shades and get more variation around the color you are using. Then, there is the lighten and darken color buttons. This will fill large sections at a time in your selected color.Īfter that, we have the undo and redo buttons. The last painting tool we have is the bucket fill. This is great for blending and can make a skin look more natural. This is similar to the drawing tool, but instead of being the same color, it does a variant of colors around the color you have select. After that there is the ‘background' color tool. This is for erasing drawings on your skin. This can also be good for coloring individual pixels on your skin. This will allow you to draw free-hand on your skin model. There are a bunch of different tools you can use when you make a Minecraft skin. That will take you to the Skin Editor page on The Skindex, and we can start creating your own custom Minecraft skin. Luckily, you can access the Skin Editor by click the button above by clicking here. This is, by far, the best way to create a Minecraft skin.
